Boyne City, MI
When a pipe burst in this cozy northern Michigan family retreat, renovation came out of necessity, not desire. We jumped into the design, letting the memory of this special space guide the way. From the constant overflow of house guests to the original palette, the changes were deeply rooted in an understanding of this home and its occupants.

Working within the original color palette of red, green, and beige, we expanded beyond the builder grade finishes to incorporate natural materials and colors, including white oak flooring and furniture, sage green cabinetry, and wool carpet in the bedrooms.
