When a pipe burst in this cozy northern Michigan retreat, renovation came out of necessity, not desire. Instead of letting the memory of the original space wash away, we allowed it to guide our design choices for the new #91.

#91 was built in 1991 and remained unchanged until it flooded in 2022. Small, but mighty this condo, anchored on the south shore of Lake Charlevoix, provided space for solo travelers & large groups of family & friends. Our goal was to ensure the new 91 could continue to provide a cozy, welcoming getaway space while paying homage to the original.
